counter, the JR161 Portable Loop Traffic Counter
from Peek Traffic is a self-contained, battery
operated vehicle counter consisting of a solid
state loop detector, a six digit electronic counter,
and two six volt batteries. For security, the display
is visible without opening or unlocking the case.
The JR161 is self-contained in a weather-resistant
housing with a tamper-resistant latch and hinges.
Units can be supplied complete and ready for
immediate use with all necessary accessories.
JR161 counters are designed and street-proven
for use as vehicle volume counters for city streets,
driveways, shopping centers, national parks,
secondary highways, and drive-in and parking
complexes; anywhere a basic, low-cost traffic
survey is needed. Installation and operation are
simple and straightforward. Loop detectors are of
a self-tuning design.
