 July 20, 2012- Peek Traffic Corporation is pleased to announce the release of the IQ Central v1.16 software for Advanced Traffic Controllers
Intended for Traffic Management Centers (TMC), IQ Central allows traffic technicians to configure and monitor hundreds of traffic control devices from a central location.
IQ Central v1.16 includes a list of enhancements as well as new features adding both usability and convenience to Peek’s latest software upgrade. New features greatly reduce the time to commission a new system, and help manage the system without inhibiting communications.
“The central system that’s easy to use just got easier,” said Brett Heinz, Peek’s Software Development Manager. “The new features include a friendlier process of commissioning a system, reducing the time it takes to just minutes. The database comparison report also now tracks field changes right where you edit.”
Major features added in this release of IQ Central include:
- New Utilities
- Flat File Import Utility
- Capability to import a comma-separated (.csv) file which significantly reduces the time to warrant a new system
- Device Activation Manager
- Allows users to activate and deactivate devices individually, by group, by device type, by closed loop system, or system wide
- Database Difference Report
- Generates a report of the differences between the field and central database for an intersection controller
IQ Central v1.16 supports the latest and most current Windows operating systems in 32- and 64-bit. |
