ADR-1000

 PALMETTO, FL – April 13, 2009 — Peek Traffic has taken an order for 200 ADR-1000 Plus automated data recorders through their distributor in Arkansas, the Pinkley Sales Company. Due to the efficiencies of Peek’s new Palmetto, Florida manufacturing facility, the order has already been shipped; the time from receiving the order to a completed shipment has been reduced to a matter of weeks thanks to improved processing times in all aspects of Peek’s operations. These ADR units were purchased by the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department and will be used to count traffic flow at various locations around the state.

Release notes covering the v6.04 firmware for the ADR Plus line of automatic traffic counters/classifiers. This update adds AxleLight laser sensor functionality to the ADR line. The AxleLight is a new, non-invasive laser-based vehicle sensing system that was brought to the vehicle counting and classification markets by Peek in the Spring of 2007.
